Merger with Baker McVeigh Mennessier Chantilly
We are pleased to welcome the Baker McVeigh Mennessier Chantilly Clinic to the Altano Group!
This makes the clinic the third in France, alongside the Argonay Equine Clinic in the south-east of France and the Grosbois Equine Clinic near Paris. The Baker McVeigh Mennessier and Grosbois equine clinics already work together in the field of surgery.
The clinic specialises in racehorses and is located in Chantilly, a famous historic French horse town, also known as the “capital of horses”. Chantilly is best known for its large training centre for gallop racehorses and its beautiful 7830 hectare domain consisting of a castle, a park, historic stables and a beautiful equestrian museum that spans more than 8 centuries!
Dr Hélène Mennessier and her team work mainly on an ambulatory basis and are equipped with everything necessary for orthopaedics, respiratory pathology and traumatology. The team consists of 8 veterinarians, 5 assistant veterinarians and 3 administrative staff.
As a specialist in racehorses, the collaboration with the Grosbois equine clinic is already very valuable. With the strength of the group, the clinic would like to expand the network in France, provide excellent training for young veterinarians and expand the team!
Together with Altano, the areas of training, recruiting and quality of work life will be strengthened.
