Altano expands its East Coast presence with Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center

We are thrilled to welcome the Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center, as Altano’s newest United States partner. Mid-Atlantic Equine’s location expands Altano’s presence on the East Coast of the United States, as they partner with us to bring the best in care to our equine partners.

The Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center opened its doors in 1986 and today brings a wealth of equine experience and variety of specialists that horse owners in New Jersey and the Midatlantic region can steadfastly rely upon for the care of their equine athletes. This partnership means that equine owners on the East Coast now have access to a broader network of veterinary care under the Altano umbrella.

We are proud to have such a full and dedicated equine medical team join us in this new partnership. Mid-Atlantic boasts a dedicated team of 50 individuals, with a collaborative team of 16 veterinarians in many fields, including orthopedic and emergency surgery, internal medicine, sports and performance medicine, including in depth neurologic evaluations, field emergency services, and more.

Mid-Atlantic also has a strong mobile/field service presence in the area to compliment their state-of-the-art surgical, medical and diagnostic imaging facility. Convenience and professionalism dominate at this comprehensive practice that caters to their customers. Mid-Atlantic is a prime example of a one-stop practice to cover all needs in equine care. The Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center has earned their reputation as a premier equine veterinary hospital through clinical excellence and dedicated care. Doctors are present around the clock to tend to emergencies that arrive and to care for hospitalized patients.

The practice emphasizes collaboration and innovation, working closely with clients and referring veterinarians to deliver the highest standard of equine medical care. From performance horses in demanding sport disciplines to our thoroughbred and Standardbred athletes and cherished companions, Mid-Atlantic strives to meet the diverse needs of every equine patient.
