We are very pleased to welcome the Seester Equine Clinic to our Altano Group.
The Seester Equine Clinic is idyllically situated in northern Germany near Hamburg and was founded in 1983 by Dr. Helmut Hell. Since April 2013, the clinic has been jointly managed by Dr. Gertjan Zeeuw and Ralf Sillinger.
The clinic is distinguished by decades of experience and dedication, particularly in the field of colic surgery. Every treatment begins with a thorough diagnosis that utilizes state-of-the-art technologies such as digital X-rays and high-resolution ultrasound with specialized probes for orthopedics and internal medicine.
A wide range of modern therapeutic methods and a state-of-the-art operating room equipped with electronic anesthesia monitoring enable both conservative and minimally invasive procedures, ensuring optimal treatment and medical care for horses.
The Seester Equine Clinic cares for its patients at any time of the day or night—both on an outpatient and inpatient basis. Five experienced veterinarians with well-equipped vehicles (equipped for intensive care, surgery, ultrasound, and digital X-rays) are available to provide outpatient care. If an inpatient stay is necessary, the horses can be accommodated in bright stalls with windows.
The clinic's range of services includes colic treatment, surgery, foal care, gynecology and obstetrics, internal medicine, pre-purchase examinations, laboratory diagnostics, orthopedics/arthroscopy, dentistry, and gastroscopy.
