When clients enter Delaney Veterinary Services , they are greeted by a dedicated reception team and receive outstanding veterinary care from every member of the practice team—from diagnosis to treatment. As part of the Altano Group, the clinic is now further expanding its capabilities to offer leading expertise in critical care, lameness diagnostics, and a wide range of surgical procedures.
The practice, based in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, began in 2008. Since then, it has grown to include five veterinarians, including specialty in surgery and lameness, several technicians and supportive administration team. The clinic has multiple exam rooms, an extended care lay-up barn, video monitoring foaling stalls, and a surgical facility with two recovery stalls and offers routine surgery as well as the capability to handle emergency surgeries, such as colic.
“Partnering with Altano allows Delaney’s to advance equine medicine while staying true to our mission of putting the horse first,” said Dr. Lana Delaney. “Through science, education and compassion, we strive to improve horse health comfort and performance.”
Their compassionate, high-quality care led to the clinic being named the 2020 Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Practice of the Year honoree. The outstanding level of service, coupled with dedication to advancing the profession, makes Delaney Veterinary Services a perfect addition to our group.
Alongside serving a robust clientele, the practice is committed to teaching the next generation of veterinarians. A hands-on program allowing students to participate in appointments provides a wonderful learning opportunity while not delaying care to equine patients.
Each step in the process, from making an appointment to diagnosing the issue to providing care, is done with precision from the Delaney team.
