The Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center opened its doors in 1986 and today boasts a wealth of experience and a wide range of specialists. Horse owners in New Jersey and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region have been able to rely on reliable care for their sport and leisure horses for decades. With this partnership, horse owners on the East Coast now have access to an even larger network of veterinary expertise under the Altano umbrella.
We are proud to welcome such a dedicated and skilled team to our community. Mid-Atlantic has approximately 50 employees, including 16 highly specialized veterinarians in areas such as orthopedic and emergency surgery, internal medicine, sports and performance medicine (including comprehensive neurological examinations), on-site emergency care, and much more.
In addition to a strong mobile field service, Mid-Atlantic has state-of-the-art facilities for surgery, medicine, and diagnostic imaging. This comprehensive clinic is characterized by a high level of comfort and professionalism, offering its customers all equine medical services from a single source.
