Founded in 1977 by veterinarian Jukka Houttu, Tampereen Hevosklinikka holds the distinction of being Finland’s first private equine clinic. At that time, the country had a limited number of equine veterinarians, making the establishment of the clinic a significant milestone in Finnish equine healthcare. Over the years, the clinic has played a pivotal role in advancing veterinary practices and has become a cornerstone of equine healthcare in Finland.

Tampereen Hevosklinikka offers a comprehensive range of services for all horses, from trotters, sport, leisure and retired horses to ponies and foals. The clinic is particularly known for its expertise in musculoskeletal health, internal medicine, and preventive care. With advanced diagnostic capabilities, an in-house laboratory, and a highly active surgical department specializing in orthopedic and soft tissue procedures, the clinic ensures high-quality veterinary care.
